You’ll be picked up at your hotel in Hanoi at 7:30am and transferred to our bike store to pick up your bike and start cycling along the Red River dike to the scenic countryside of Hanoi.

On the way, we will pass peaceful villages, lush green rice fields and vegetable farms. The small biking trail will lead you to Bat Trang Pottery Village where you will experience the daily life of locals, try to make some products, visit the pottery market and buy some souvenirs for your beloveds.

We will then leave your bike to the support car and take a short drive to Dau Pagoda (in BacNinh Province), where you can learn about Buddhism in Vietnam. This pagoda is a link between Buddhism and the faith of agricultural Gods worshiping for thousand years.

Leaving Dau Pagoda, you’ll continue to Dong Ho folk-painting village – where woodcut paintings of Vietnam were born. You will observe the process of making paintings.

After lunch in Dong Ho Village, you will bike along Duong River (Sông Đuống) towards But Thap Pagoda – an ancient pagoda with unique architecture which symbolizes for Buddhism in 13th century under Tran Dynasty. Our tour-guide will share with you the knowledge and interesting facts about Buddhism in Vietnam since 13thcentury.
You will be transferred back to Hanoi at about 16:00. Free at your leisure.

Get ready for 2 days 1 night trekking in Phong Nha national Park with Tu Lan encounter excursion.
 
You will be picked up at your hotel in Phong Nha between 7.30am to 8.00am by shuttle bus, before venturing off to the village of Tan Hoa, located 70 km away. After a safety briefing and gear check, you need to sign our Release Form before it's off and away for a full day of trekking. The trek begins with a 2.5 km march across fields of peanut crops, giant water buffaloes, towering corn stalks, and down to the Rao Nan River. The adventure accelerates with a 30 m climb up a rocky hill to a small jungle opening where you can catch your breath before a 100 m descent in elevation down to Hung Ton Valley.

Lunch will be enjoyed in the Hung Ton Cave opening and then the adventure picks up again with some serious trekking from Hung Ton Valley and over to Mango Mountain, then back down into Tu Lan Valley (3 km). By midafternoon, Tu Lan campsite will be on the horizon, where swimming can be enjoyed in the beautiful waterfall. Afternoon activities include exploring and swimming through Ken Cave, located next to the campsite, and after that it's back to camp for a delicious BBQ dinner. Sleep will come easy in comfortable hammocks or tents set up amongst the trees!

This tour offers a glimpse into the amazing beauty of the Tu Lan area: caves, karst mountains, jungle, and waterfalls. It is an opportunity to escape civilization and go deep into the rugged and untouched nature of Vietnam for two-days and one-night with a professional English-speaking guide and jungle porter team. This tour is perfect if you are short on time but still want a solid taste of adventure in the amazing Tu Lan jungle and cave system. You will enjoy exploring Ken Cave, Kim Cave, Hung Ton Cave and of course Tu Lan Cave. You will also be subjected to a decent amount of trekking with over 12 km of tough jungle terrain covered over the two days and plenty of swimming! Once the day s adventures are over get ready for a night in the jungle at our amazing Tu Lan campsite located by a beautiful waterfall. You will enjoy a delicious BBQ beside the campfire before turning in to the sounds of jungle critters and rushing waters of the nearby waterfall. The camping site is located in the Tu Lan valley surrounded by unspoiled nature. The tents will be set up next to a natural stream and some caves of the great cave system in Phong Nha Ke Bang National Park. Because of the environmental protection and absolute pristine nature of this land, there is no bathroom. You can immerse yourself in the stream with the cool blue water to wash away dirt and sweat after a long trekking day. An environmentally-friendly toilet is also set up 50m to 100m away from the overnight area. The porters will be in charge of preparing dinner for the entire group.

Enjoy a hearty breakfast, and be ready for more cave exploration. Starting with a brief swim across the river into the heart of Tu Lan Cave System, you will break to enjoy the blue lagoon entrance before making your way 180 m downstream through Tu Lan Cave entrance. Make your way up to explore the dry part with some climbing and squeezing, at which point you will reach the dry exit and trek a short way through the valley into Kim Cave dry entrance. Stay for a while to watch out for a natural window in Kim Cave, and you will then be off on a swim (450 m) and trek (500 m) through Hang Kim to To Mo Valley.

picnic lunch will be served next to a stunning waterfall by Hung Ton Cave mouth. Then, you will try to follow a dry path before swimming out through Hung Ton wet cave. Following this is the exploration of a dry passage, and then a trek down into Hung Ton Valley (800 m). Arrival in Tan Hoa is followed by a chance to take in the scenery with a cold drink in hand. Showers are available for those who would like to clean up and change, and then departure back to Phong Nha is at around 4 pm, with arrival in Phong Nha by 5:30 pm (Note: 6:00 - 6:30 pm from November to March).

The charming Lady Pagoda (Thien Mu Pagoda) will be the first stop. Setting in the converge of rivers, and gives you a great view on the Perfume River and surrounding area. From here you will take a drive to visit King Minh Mang tomb & King Khai Dinh tomb. Lunch at a local restaurant. 

This afternoon you will join a tour of Hue City including the Old Citadel and the Forbidden Purple City - an amazing historic landmark in Hue - a definite must-see sight to learn more about the history and architecture that visitor should not miss when travelling to that peaceful area.

08h30am: Your guide will meet you in your hotel lobby, than you will cycle  around Hoi An towards the Tra Que vegetable village - About 150 farmers and 400 owners live on there and cultivate about 20 types of vegetables and herbs such as mint, lettuce, basil, cilantro, broccoli and many more. From the more than 40 hectares of land 8 tons of Village Tra vegetables are sold every year. The vegetable growers do not use pesticides or GMOs, using natural fertilizers instead, including seaweed found in the river and harvested by gardeners every morning.

Walk in Tra Que vegetable village and meet local people working in the garden. During the walk, you will cross vast rice fields in the countryside and quiet road, far away from the tourist trails. You will see the activities of the inhabitants through the villages of Hoian.

The local farmer will teach you all about cultivation methods and how to protect developing vegetable from the insects as well as join the farmers in preparing gardening activities such as raking the ground, sowing, watering greens, transplanting and tending greens.

Continue riding through paddy field, Ba Le market, kindergarten ... until reaching Van Lang fisherman village and Bay Mau coconut water forest - about 7 hectares, surrounded by mangrove forests, canals, houses covered by coconut water leaf . This place had ever been the refuge for people and local soldiers during the Vietnam War. Nowadays, it is famous for providing the most seafood products.

You will be warmly welcomed at Mr. Han – a 3 generations family, taste of green tea and stroll through the village. You will row a basket boat within the hands of skillful locals and discover their techniques of traditional fishery in water coconut forest.

Back Mr. Han’ family for enjoy a foot bath with medicinal herbs, traditional therapeutic practice before getting ready to prepare lunch with a local family. Lunch will feature many local delicacies, such as Tam Huu spring rolls, BanhXeo local pancakes, grilled fish in banana leaf and others.

After lunch, free time and take a short rest before finishing the biking tour and continuing with the last-but-not-least activity of the day. The highlight is to visit a lantern shop where artisans make Hoi An's famous lanterns. You see the whole process then have a chance to create your own lanterns. You will be provided the bamboo that forms the base of your frame and colorful silk so that you can choose your own color pattern, and design. Once completed, you can take one as hand-made sourvenir as these lanterns are easy to fold and carry.

You will have big chance to make a lantern by yourself during this tour. Lanterns are made of Vietnamese silk, which is made from silk worms famous in Asia.
